The spraylat makes the cockpit look just a bit dumpy, but once it is removed it makes the glass and fiberglass underneath it really look good! My P-2V Neptune cockpit comes with a very large compliment of the original instruments, scopes, switches, seats, pedals, and more. This cockpit is covered in spraylat (A protective coating designed to protect things like plexiglass windows). The type was successful in export, and saw service with several armed forces. Designed a land-based aircraft, the Neptune never made a carrier landing, but a small number were converted and deployed as carrier-launched, stop-gap nuclear bombers that would have to land on shore or ditch. It was developed for the US Navy by Lockheed to replace the Lockheed PV-1 Ventura and PV-2 Harpoon.

This cockpit is special because the Neptune was a maritime patrol and anti-submarine warfare (ASW) aircraft that dates back to 1962. The instruments are even correct for the type and style used by the US Navy. This is the most complete P-2V Neptune cockpit out there and it is in very good condition.
